Pray Boldly
I love this quote from Sam Storms regarding prayer,
“At no time anywhere in the psalter do we read of someone apologizing for being overly zealous. At no time do the psalmists circle back around, after expressing their heart’s desire, and try to make amends with God, as if he is offended by their urgent cries for help. At no time in the psalms do we find God calling for their repentance for having been so vocally bold and brash. If anything, God encourages their relentless, passionate, urgent appeals for help.”
