God has given us everything we need
In 2 Peter 1 we find some incredible promises, “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence…”. The power that created the world, sustains the world, raised the dead, walked on water, cast out demons, and healed the sick…that very power, has granted to us all things!
The divine power of God is within us. He enables us to live the life He has called us to live. Prayer is a vital part of that process. We must seek to walk in the Spirit and in His power and that happens “in our inner being.” (Eph 3:16). God’s power works in us through prayer and time in His word…we must see what He wants us to do, ask Him for help in doing it, and then step out in faith and in His power.
Steven Cole shared that Crowfoot the chief of the Blackfoot confederacy in southern Alberta gave the Canadian Pacific Railroad permission to cross their land. In return, the railroad gave Crowfoot a lifetime-pass to ride on the railway. He put it in a leather case and wore it around his neck for the rest of his life, but there is no evidence that he ever used it to travel anywhere.
A lot of Christians are like that…God has given us incredible power and incredible promises, but we just keep on living our lives in the flesh…we are often like an eagle that never soars…content with walking on the ground.

I pray all the time to see the power and to build my faith and trust. I want to live for Jesus and be in his will. Thanks for the devotion.
