Every Moment Holy

Every moment holy!  It’s a book title by Douglas Kaine McKelvey, but it has become my daily quest and prayer.  I simply don’t want to separate my life between the heavenly and earthly.  I don’t want to excuse moments of flesh as being merely human. I want to walk in holiness.  I want to see every moment of my life as an opportunity to:

Pray
Train myself for godliness
Grow in my sanctification.

I want to see every thought as a prayer conversation with God and if the thought isn’t worthy of Him I want to ask Him to replace it with His glory.

Paul said, “Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.  Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”  The word for “think about,” is a command and it is a command for all of us.

The Bible does not command what the Spirit does not empower.  Read that again.  The Bible does not command what the Spirit does not empower.  Ask Him to help you think of Him, to walk in Him, to live for Him, and for that to play out in every aspect of your life.
