Customs Information

You will have to go through Customs in Costa Rica by yourself. It is a just a desk where you present your passport and you MUST provide an address of where you will be staying. Copy this and put it somewhere you can retrieve.

Excursion Day

On Sunday, we will have an excursion day. We will go shopping and visit a uniquely Costa Rican location, La Paz Waterfall Garden and Nature Park. Check it out below.

MORNING
Here are the lesson plans for VBS
Morning VBS  Lessons 
Each day will be in the school. Same lesson. Different grades each day.

AFTERNOON
The afternoon we will be with the CDI children (About 30 children)
Afternoon VBS Lessons
Monday we will be in a the La Sabana Park 
Tuesday we will be at Monte de la Cruz 
Wednesday we will be at Cuidad Inflatables  with just the David and Goliath story. ($15 for those who want to participate or watch for free)

Projects

We will have several projects people will be involved. Some projects will involve the whole Costa Rica team. Some projects will involve those not involved with VBS. Here's a start.

Work Projects Planned:  Construction of a free standing classroom, soccer nets installation,  landscaping and cutting grass, re-painting the retaining with the flags, raccoon damage, gutters, etc.

Social Media

There are several social media sites you can access to see the media from the Costa Rica Trip. The first two options are ministries we will be partnering with in Costa Rica.

Children's Development Institute: This organization tutors children and we will be having them for the afternoon VBS

Carlos and Ana work with college students in a ministry call Hangout. They feed them on Wednesdays, have Bible studies at the university and in their home.
