  • Events and Gatherings





     

    -Sunday, Jan 20/ There will be an interest meeting for any who is interested  in going to Ecuador this summer. The meeting will be held in B213. Kara Chism from E3 Ministries will be leading this meeting. The trip dates ate June 15-23.

    -Sunday, Jan 20/ Business Meeting in the Sanctuary at 6 pm

    -Monday, Jan 21/ Hester Group will be meeting at 10 am at Oak Circle

    -Saturday, Jan 26/ IRONMEN Bqq Dinner in Petros at 6 pm. $5 per guy. Tickets being to go on sale on Sunday, Jan 13 outside of both services and will be sold through the church office until January 23rd. Make plans to be there!

    -Sunday. Jan 27/ FBC will be having a Trauma Emergency Kit Training class taught by Kathy Gillison-Parker in PETROS at 4:30 pm. All staff and medical persons are encouraged to attend and any other church members who would be interested may attend also.

    -Jan 28-Jan 30/ The 29th Hour Prayer Meeting will be on these three evenings at 6:29 until 7:29 pm. They will gather in the Sanctuary each evening for one hour to pray for their community, their families and friend, the Church, and their co workers. If you can not join in for the meeting you are encouraged to stop at this time, wherever you are and pray.

    -Thursday, Jan 31/ JOY Group will meet in PETROS as guest speaker Robbie Roberts RN from St. Vincent's St. Clair Hospital share different ways to stay healthy and strong this winter. Reservations are a must so if you are 55 and above and are interested in attending, call the church office no later than January 28th by noon to let us know. Lunch is provided!


    Sunday, Feb 3/ The children from Children of the World will be leading up in musical worship this morning, We will have no Sunday School or Illuminate.

  • Serving opportunities

    • The Good Neighbor Committee provides a meal for the family when a member passes away. The meal is on the day of the funeral; either before or following the service. If you are willing to provide vegetables, salads, and/or desserts on occasion for this ministry, please contact Julia Skelton at (205) 913-1762.
