• Events and Gatherings


    June 2019-July 2019- There will be no regular Wednesday evening activities this summer for adults or children. Aduly Choir will continue but will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evenings. Youth will meet at the highway 78 property for Ultimate Frisbee. All regular Wednesday evening activities will resume in August. 

    Sunday morning and evening services will continue normally throughout the summer unless otherwise noted. Feel free to call the office if you have any questions.

    July 12-24: Please be in prayer as our Mission Team head out and minister to the people of Romania. 

    August 4th- Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party at 6:30 pm in the MPR

    Operation Christmas Child Packing Shoebox Gathering will be on August 4 in the MPR at 6:30 pm. (see below for a list of items that we are collecting through the month of July)

    Wednesday Night dinner to kick off our Fall 2019 semester of Discipleship University will be Wensday, August 7 at 5:30 pm. D.U will follow.

    Fall Term 2019 of Discipleship University will be kicking off on August 7. Come enjoy a great meal before hand and be ready to start your small group that night at 6:30. Everyone will meet in the MPR for an introduction to their class and then begin that night. Click here for a list of classes being offered and book cost for each course.



    With everything that goes on in our every day lives. sometimes it is difficult to keep up with what is going on next. Well, that doesn't have to happen here at FBC. You can get important information right in the palm of your hand!

    You may be asking how? 

    All you need is a texting device!

  • Serving opportunities

    It is that time again! We are starting to collet items for the OCC Shoeboxes! Our packing party will be Sunday night, August 4th, and we are askign you to begin collecting these different items for each week in July:
    July 14-  bring small stuffed animals
    July 21- bring small balls, games and toys
    July 28- bring school supplies

    * Please do not bring toothpaste, candy, or anything that will melt, or liquids. 

    Containers for these items will be in the MPR lobby and in the hallway behind the Sanctuary.


Deacon Reserve List  2019

The results of the Deacon Reserve List Election are that all on the ballot were elected for addition to the Deacon Reserve List.

Those elected were Kyle Barrentine, Joseph Creew, Shannon Gunnells, Jonathan Zeiger, Josh Guthrie, and Gabe Hackney.

Kyle Barrentine, Joseph Crew, SHannon Gunnells and Jonathan Zeiger are already precbiously orfained deacons and will be added immediately to the Reserve List. Those currently on the Deacon Reserve List and these four new additions to the list will be eligible for election to the active voting body of deacons on Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Joshn Guthrie and Gabe Hackney will serve as Deacon Apprentices for the next year in preparation for future ordination. Their service as Deacon Apprentices will begin on Monday, May 6, 2019.
