  • Serving opportunities

    • The Good Neighbor Committee provides a meal for the family when a member passes away. The meal is on the day of the funeral; either before or following the service. If you are willing to provide vegetables, salads, and/or desserts on occasion for this ministry, please contact Julia Skelton at (205) 913-1762.
    • Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham: Through one of our own members, Jennifer Jensen, we have a great ministry opportunity available with the RMH Meal Program. Volunteers cook and serve hot, delicious meals for the families, in the Volunteer Kitchen. This can be a one time event or it could end up being a monthly ministry, depending on the interest. With just 14 full time staff, the RMH could not provide dinner every night for all the families without the help of caring volunteers. If you would like to be apart of this ministry, take a tour or the House, or just want more information, contact Jennifer at 205-405-4637. We would like to prepare a meal in September, so if you are interested in serving, please don't delay in contacting Jennifer!
